Oh happy day, o happy dayA!
What new things have you tried recently? How did you make today a good day? What conscious, healthy thoughts or decision did you have/make? Where are you? What are you doing? How are you doing? I miss you!!!! Talk to me my friends... Your mind is saying... "Wow, I feel great! I'm really doing this! I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far and look forward to continuing this journey!" Or are you getting stuck, starting to talk yourself into making bad decisions, sabotaging all you have accomplished? Today can be a great day, you are in charge!!! Live it up friends !

Talk to you...o-Kay :) this has been a CRAZY week for me. I've been working long hours because my staff at work has been sick, so my priorities are not in order. I haven't gone grocery shopping so dinners have been a challenge :( missed my 1st scheduled workout, and I cannot wait to get back on track! Tonight-I did a great workout with Kerri, doing shopping and hoping to get organized.

I am pretty much in the same boat at Tanya. I have been working crazy hours with people being out of work, haven't been grocery shopping & just trying to get through the days. I think living on 3-4 hours of sleep finally caught up to me since I wasn't able to stay awake for more than 2 hours at a time without taking a nap yesterday. And like I needed more on my plate, we adopted a shelter dog!! BUT......on a good note, it looks like I am getting back to my "normal" work schedule and can not wait to get back into the swing of things again. I can tell you I really feel the difference in my mood & energy with my way of eating getting out of wack!! People look at me like I am nuts but eating Paleo has been sooo good for my mood!! I haven't had the ups & downs like I used to. When I tell people about it, I tell them don't focus on the weightloss, the way you feel will make you want to exercise and just do more overall, which will lead to a weightloss. So now my main focus is to get back on track!!

I just have to say I just opened this @ work and saw this picture and started laughing. This week has been a rollercoaster ride for me. I keep trying to tell myself to stay positive. I really have enjoyed the run group so far. I am the furtherest thing from a runner but this another one those things I had in my head I couldnt do and I am going to prove that voice wrong.

Hey!! I'm still here LOL This last week has been super-challenging, because I caught the first sickness of the winter. However, thanks to my way of eating, everyone else is still in bed and I am up functioning. I also didn't need to take off of work - I managed to get through with some extra naps.

I was in the same boat as Karen S. I also was sick on Monday forcing me to miss my normal class. It was tough missing the class, but I wanted to get over my stomach virus. I also think that my virus was due to some poor food choices leaving me suseptible to it. At 1st I thought it was just my body responding to the bad food, but my son also got it too, so I knew that it was a virus,.But after a day and 1/2, I was back to almost 100%. Our bodies do "tell " us so much, but we just have to learn to listen to it. Our bodies do know what it needs and what is best for it, we just need to learn to listen to it--it is kind of like a parent/child relationship. It is also like a parent/child dynamic becasuse we never stop learning from our bodies. Our bodies know what to do for us innately.

The last 2 weeks have been challenging for me. I spent a lot of time at LVH for tests and missed crunch and punch the last 2 weeks. I will not be able to take that or yoga for a while. I use my bracelet to remind me that "Positive is Powerful". I am concentrating on what I can do. I walk the 5k route everyday trying to improve my time. The grunting really helps! I am also staying on top of my eating since I can not work out as much. Reading all of your posts is comforting. Knowing I am not the only one with struggles and it keeps me on track.

Making better decisions but not enough, little weight loss. I was pleased with the run club Saturday and I wanted to blow off class Monday night by using the snow as an excuse but No Excuses got me there! So happy I went! Connie is a riot and Paula is a good partner!
