The meeting was excellent as usual! Once again, you all encouraged me to step outside the comfort zone and try something new - I have never done a class like Heather's in my life and it was awesome :)

Personally, I love the meetings. The positive energy generated alone from those meetings gives me a boost in motivation for switching my eating habits. All the talk about positive foods and feeling great inspired me to make a ridiculous 6 egg omelette with peppers, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms when I got home instead of eating breaded processed chicken and more than likely a bowl of cereal. Listening to people talk about their lifestyle changes makes me tell myself that I can do that too. It may not look like I need to change my eating habits, but the amount of garbage that I end up eating is astounding and probably part of the reason that my positive thought part of my brain is usually sleeping on the job. I think my morning rant is over :)

I look forward to the meetings and talking with the various people there. It is helpful that we have the mentors there to give advise on the foods they have tried and learned about. Their experiences make it seem less "scary".

So great to have such a strong support team at DF growing! Seems there is negativity all around us home, jobs etc...and I luv to come to the gym whether training or teaching and feel the positivity...truely amazing! This program has helped me to get back on track with my nutrition and making better choices on a daily basis...Planning and being prepared is key.

The meetings are my favorite part of the program (and Heather's work outs). The positive message has really helped me deal with my work stress. I no longer worry about the time frames. I just do my best. I have found that my old circle of friends is getting smaller. They are negative and there is no more room in my life for that! My new circle of friends is growing! Thanks to DF!

Hello everyone. I too am loving the program. I love listening to Kerri. She us a very good speaker. Always makes me laugh. I am extremely sore from yoga, spin and Heathers class. I am hearing the little guy on my shoulder telling me to skip cross fit today but looking at my bracelet and Kerri on my either shoulder I am going. :)

Kelly! Deep breath, do not give up on yourself! What a great idea of listing your positives online. This is just one temporarily crummy day in your journey to a healthier you. However, feeling overwhelmed does not mean you have to pack it in and give up. Prove all those naysayers wrong at work and at home.....you can do it! If you stick with this way of eating and healthy lifestyle, I promise you that very soon you will have so much energy and feel so wonderful each & every day that the negative things will mostly run off your back like water on a duck.

It can seem a bit overwhelming at times Kelly, I think that everyone has those days. I have been doing the Paleo since Jan. and gluten free for about 1 yr. What I tried to do was to take "baby" steps when making this lifestyle change. Some people are able to jump in with both feet, but that doesn't work for everyone. It will become easier as time goes on. But continue to reach out to your support whenever needed. I found that me trying to mentor people is keeping me on track. I love the Paleo lifestyle, but to this day I will constantly re-evaluate my choices to try and make better ones, such as trying to eat more veggies in the day, and less fruit. I keep trying to find ways to make me the best me that I can be.

I keep forgetting about the blog!! This was my first meeting because i joined a little late. I was a tad nervous about it because i have never done any sort of group challenge/weight loss anything, i've always gone it alone. I feel so encouraged now. I thought the meeting was great. Sitting there with all of those other people felt way different than i thought it would, then again, DF is probably the most encouraging environment i've ever experienced, so i don't know why i was surprised! I love hearing everyone else's comments and questions and concerns, i really don't feel like i'm doing this alone. And I made so much food for dinner tonight and only got a third of the way through it before i was SO full, and it was breakfast for dinner! I never found eggs to be all that filling before... I really do feel so grateful that i was introduced to DF. Best. Gym. Ever.
