Hi team!
My best advice is to take your time and enjoy the ride! Don't fret and worry...enjoy! See how you can embrace Paleo one meal at a time! Incorporate exercise into your routine slowly! If we make too many drastic changes, it may be overwhelming! So... Have you given yourself credit for what you have done this far?! I like the binder idea ladies! Nice work! Also... Have you set yourself up with constant reminders of what you are setting out to achieve?! Sometimes a picture or positive quote by your nightstand when you wake up in the morning is a great reminder!!!
Last night I had a glass of red wine, the Dedicated Salad from Joey B's and a sweet potato and andouille sausage soup!
NO EXCUSES!!
Today is your day!
positive is powerful!!
Take care
Kerri

I am so excited to be part of this fantastic journey again. So many things have been learned during the last several months, not only about the paleo lifestyle, but about me and my relationship with food. I no longer look at food the same way, no longer living to eat, but eating to live. Feeling so much better, both physiclly and mentally. I am really enjoying the journey!

thanks kerri , knowing that i made it to all of my classes this week was an accomplishment, and a more paleo meal last night was progress... i reflect in the morning and right down what i was grateful for the day before as a positive way to start my day and remember how far i have come... my happy binder is a big help as well... thank you for all you do Kerri ... i know i am in a better place with you and dedicated fitness in my life :)

its all about making the effort... i know i went grocery shopping last night and i made more conscious decisions of what was going to be coming in the house... scott still bought things he wanted and i just had him put them in a separate cabinet

i keep my motivation close.A dress i would like to look good in hangs by my bed(it fits but doesnt necessarily look good). My 5K number is pinned to my curtain so I can see it when I go to bed.I spend my spare time looking up motivating sayings and pictures.I have an Iphone so I constantly change my background with new motivating sayings and pictures. It really helps me bc when I get negative feedback no matter where I am I just look at my Phone to help me get through it.I often post these things on my FB wall. The eating Paleo is going good for me. Im not hungry and since Im a scale phanatic Ive already seen 6lbs drop off. Yaaay!

So far so good!! :) Mike and I still doing our grateful list verbally at night. We then expand on that and find many more things we are grateful for. We have always had good communication between us, but this has now opened other doors for conversation and I believe made our union stronger. The thing I need to work on is consuming my water intake. Otherwise, my eating and activity level is terrific. Thanks to all the coaches and my DF family for the wonderful support!!!!

Hey Connie...set up a smart goal for your water intake...
Specific: I will drink 64 ounces of water per day
Measurable: I will use a 32 ounce container to drink from each day and I will refill 2x's
Action oriented: If you do not have a 32 ounce container go buy one today...if you do your action is to fill it first thing in the morning and put it by your purse take it everywhere you go
Relevant to your vision: Water intake is relevant to your vision...water helps with your whole bodys metabolic process, hydration, weight loss, good for your skin, helps digestive process also can curb your hunger as dehydration is often masked by thirst...the list goes on:)
Time Bound: Start today!!!! you can do it

**This is just an example...i usually recommend to clients to drink .66 x your body weight but if that is too much slowly build as you can. I like 32 ounce bottles, just easier for me to remember how many i drank per day.

I haven't made it to the gym. I have exercised at home. How do I sign up for classes? Dies this program included a trainer showing me what to do in the gym?

Laura, go to Dedicated Fitness's website www.dedicatedfit.com and print out the current invoice. It gives you all of the available classes, fill it out for the month, make appts for yourself to get to the gym, and return it to Kerri. Tonight there is a crosstrain class at 6 which typically has room in it, you can text Kerri and ask her if there are openings too, 610-390-8321. Heather is also doing a class tonight at 7:15, this would be great for you to attend!

So this week my goal was to stop and think about what I was eating. I realized that a lot of what I had in my frig and cabinets weren't very healthy and defiantly not part of the Paleo way of eating. I bought a Paleo cookbook and have been doing a lot of reading on this way of eating. Tomorrow I am going grocery shopping so I can start Monday!!!
