Tonight I chose to make a salad for dinner! I'm trying hard to detox my body of the sugar I ate over my vacation... I assure you it did me no good as my energy is dragging and my belly UPSET with me!!
This is a GIANT bowl of spring mix! Some red onion, fully cooked chicken breast strips from wegmans (no hormones or steroids), balsamic VINEGAR not vinegarette ... And a fresh tomato bruschetta ... My cheat... Fresh mozzarella cheese! Delightful! It's important to eat until you feel full!! Eat slowly, mindfully, but don't cut yourself short bc you think it's too much... Everything I'm eating here is good for my body so I need not worry!!! If I don't fill up I certainly will get hungry later!

Looks yummy! I am going to have a serious curve with getting used to just "balsamic vinegar" and no oil. Curious why we couldn't use a little olive oil? I thought I saw it as an ok oil on the list.

I made a stewed chicken with onions and carrots and a huge salad.If i I'm going to make the change so is the whole family slowly. We all need to eat healthy.

I too had a BAS ("big ass salad") for my dinner tonight! Salads truly have become my favorite food, just ask Elizabeth :)

At first I put a small portion of spinach or mixed greens in my bowl. When Kerri pointed out that you do not need to worry as much about serving size when it comes to your greens. I now eat triple the size of greens then I ever did, and now I don't feel hungry an hour after eating. Now I am all about the BAS --- LOL Karen you are funny.
