What do you need help with? Youve come so far. Is there something that you are still struggling with? Have you come into  any new problems?

I believe that some of you are having trouble blogging....so blog about it! We want to help, but we, as a community and support system cannot help unless you let us know what you need!

Meals a problem? Being proactive a problem? Cant stay away from sweets? Breakfast a struggle? Help us help you! We cant wait to hear from you!

So... tell us, what did you eat today? how satisfied were you?

this 8 am i made a spinach omlet w taylor ham... too salty :-/ wasn't a big fan. No more Taylor ham for me!
I had a dark chocolate flavored coconut water this afternoon!
8:30pm, I chose to make spaghetti squash, with some sautéed spinach, stewed tomatoes, and pork sausage! Can I get a ...YUM!!!
I made the squash in the microwave for 20min; bc it's a college size micro ;-), Katie says she can make it in 8min in hers!
I sautéed the spinach in grapeseed oil, while the sausages were pan frying. Then I used the juice from the stewed tomatoe can and poured some over my sausages and placed the stewed tomatoes on the spinach pan on very low.
After some time, I sliced the sausages into small pieces, put them back on pan, added a can of hunts tomato sauce and a mixture of cayenne pepper, black pepper, basil, celery seed and a hint of salt.
Seriously made me feel great when Sean said... "Whoa, this is awesome!" I liked it too!!!
Team... I'm kicking the sugar cravings!

So proud of our teammate Lisa C for not giving up. Being struck with an auto-immune disease, causing her choices to be narrowed even more, opens up the possibility of throwing in the towel and just giving up. However... Lisa now sees this as a huge hurdle or obstacle; making things more difficult but not impossible!
Lets help Lisa configure a plan!
She could have slept in this morning. She could have decided this new hurdle too big to tackle. She could give up ... But she chooses to perservere! To find another way!!! What an inspiration!
So get your thinking caps on and offer some suggestion and encouragement team!!!
Lisa... Please tell us what you can no longer have. What your concerns are? And let us help you devise a plan!!!
You got this girl!!!! We are not letting you give up!

This is coconut water, dark chocolate flavored! Using this to curb my desire for sweets! I'm also excited about cooking again!!!
Last night was my 3pan chicken special: spinach, tomatoes, and chicken topped w carmelized onions!

I am getting excited planning some meal ideas for the week! Thinking pork sausage, spaghetti squash, and tomatoes! And bacon wrapped filets!
Good to see you all this am!!! Those unable to attend , please know your absence is a big deal and we are sad when you don't show up.
We talked about seeing things from a different perspective! Being a leader! Listening more! And being more aware of expression.
Please tell me what you left the meeting with today? How did it inspire you? It's interesting to note what each person takes away from the meetings as it varies from person to person. I love asking 18year old sawyer what he heard that morning and getting his perspective on the meeting! I'd love to hear yours!!! Please share!!!!!

Running group...

Run group went very well this week! The beginner and intermediate groups did intervals, hills and distance to complete Week 1!
Reminder we exercise for the health of it! Running and Walking will have a great impact of the cardiovascular health of our bodies! It will improve bone density, muscle tone, and flexibility too! It also stimulates those endorphins to improve our mood and mental clarity! So, when you get the opportunity to partake in these activities, be mindful and enjoy each step along the way! Every step you take is one in the forward direction! No matter how few or how slow or fast you go, it's your pace, it's not a race, rather its a journey... LIVE IT UP....
REMINDER, we meet at the park Tues/Thurs 6:15pm, Sat 9:30 in march, 8:15 in April... By the bridge located closest to the police station! No charge ... Everyone is welcome! Join us!!! You too can do it!

What new things have you tried recently? How did you make today a good day? What conscious, healthy thoughts or decision did you have/make?

Where are you? What are you doing? How are you doing? I miss you!!!! Talk to me my friends... Your mind is saying... "Wow, I feel great! I'm really doing this! I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far and look forward to continuing this journey!"
Or are you getting stuck, starting to talk yourself into making bad decisions, sabotaging all you have accomplished?
Today can be a great day, you are in charge!!! Live it up friends !

Supplements....yes or no?

     A very good question. Also, a very hard quetsion to answer. If you need this answer, you need to actually take a look at your diet. What nutrients do you know you are getting enough of, what are you lacking. Then, after youve figured all that out, how do you know which supplements to get? There are so many different brands!
     I personally take two supplements every morning. I take a natural, cold water fish oil (omega 3's), and I take a multi-vitamin. I think mulit-vitamins are great, but you have to check the ingerdients and how much you are getting of each nutritent. Too much, and you might just be buying yourself some expensive urine! haha. I am also looking into taking Vitamin D3, and a probiotic.
     Proteins? No way Jose! If you are eating right, you are getting enough protein anyway. Just like other nutrients, your body can only store so much of it. Energy booster, fat burners, pre workout drinks.....no way! Think natural, almost nothing in those things is as mother earth intended. If you fear you are in need of more protein, there are other options (hemp, vegasport, etc). If you feel you need the whey (not paleo), then make sure it is a whey protein isolate, the more organic, and smaller ingredient list the better.

Ah sleep....a thing we all wish we could have more of. Better sleep, longer sleep, sleep without interruptions. There are plenty of reasons to make sure you get enough sleep. Below I have provided some links to somme good resources discussing why:
