You would think since I've been doing so many extra spin classes this week I would lose 2 pounds but the scale says not so, gained 1pound?!?!?!!!! What?! I would have fret before but since last year I've been tracking weight daily to see just how much it really fluctuates. I monitored food intake, exercise, water intake, and stress levels... So why then did the scale go up when I'm working sooooooo hard!?!
The body needs fuel to function... but think of it like a car... give it the best means of fuel and it will function at its best, take care of all parts and do proper maintenance... The body is also very smart and will protect itself. If I don't replenish my body with ENOUGH fuel, it will start storing anything I do put in because it knows it needs energy for the activity I am demanding of it. But do I load up on breads and pastas ? NO WAY... That causes my weight gain and puffiness! Instead i will eat lots of real food...I'm talking meat and vegetables my friends!!! Obviously I didn't eat enough! This morning I started at 5am.. Finished at 9:15... Tried to do some desk work but I was lethargic and unmotivated... I needed fuel so off to the kitchen I went! This dish is remnants from the other night of grass-fed ground beef and a variety of bell peppers ( no green, my preference)... I sautéed my spinach today is an oil from WildTree (basil, pesto, grapeseed ) very tasty! Added the cherub cherry tomatoes to the spinach... Then added the beef mixture from the fridge to the spinach! Topped it off w an ounce of smoked Gouda just bc! ( prob not necessary!) Voila!

Good! If you use the Internet, cookbook isn't necessary as these references have many wonderful idea with pictures! However if you prefer a book, get one with pictures or you may not use it as you had planned! From experience of myself and coach MJ!

Kerri, Just want to thank you for posting a few of your pics/recipes. I am not a fan of cooked spinach but after seeing your recent posts, I decided to bite the bullet & give the spinach omelet a try. And...it was actually REALLY GOOD! Have now added it to my list of recipes! See...you can teach an old dog new tricks! LOL!
